Products, condition and availability

Check the listing for the issue, edition, cover, format, condition and included items. Vintage comics can show the wear described in the listing. Please ask before buying if you need further photographs or condition information. Condition descriptions do not remove your rights if an item is faulty or misdescribed.

If we cannot supply an item, or discover an obvious listing or pricing error, we will contact you promptly with an explanation and appropriate options, including a refund where we cannot fulfil the order. We will not substitute a materially different edition without your agreement.

Placing an order and payment

Review your basket, delivery address, delivery method and total before paying. Our order email acknowledges the details of your order; we will contact you if an issue prevents fulfilment. Prices are in pounds sterling. Comic Moon is not VAT registered. Delivery and the full amount payable are shown before payment.

The payment methods available for your order are shown at checkout. Any separate payment-provider agreement, including a Klarna agreement you choose, has its own terms.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Read our Delivery, Returns & Refunds policy for delivery availability, charges, cancellation and return instructions. It forms part of these terms. Any delivery estimate is separate from a guaranteed delivery service.

Memberships and recurring payments

Memberships are recurring purchases. The product page and checkout explain the amount, billing frequency, initial payment and renewal schedule. Check these before subscribing. Extra purchases are charged separately unless expressly included.

Current monthly plan prices are Basic £7.99, Plus £12.99 and The 72 Trough Club £19.99 (plus a £5 one-off joining fee). The product listing explains contents and the actual payment schedule. Basic and Plus subscription postage is extra. Advertised included monthly UK delivery applies to eligible Trough Club dispatches.

You can cancel future membership renewals at any time, with no minimum term. Use My Account where the cancellation option is available, or email info@comicmoon.com before the next payment is due. We will confirm email cancellation requests. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund a payment already taken or an order already dispatched. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected.

Active members receive 15% off eligible regular-price, one-off purchases while signed in. Sale items, subscription and membership payments, and delivery are excluded. Other coupons replace the member discount rather than combining with it. Multiple memberships do not increase the discount.

Offers and free items

Offer-specific conditions and availability apply to promotions. A free item’s advertised price does not automatically include postage. Use the optional checkout checkbox if you do not want complimentary gifts.

Prize promotions have separate rules covering eligibility, dates, prizes and entry routes. Treat a promotion as open only when its rules and dates have been published.

Website use and your rights

Please provide accurate order details and keep your account secure. Website content and third-party artwork remain subject to the relevant owner’s intellectual-property rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer outside England and Wales, mandatory protections available where you live remain unaffected; these terms do not require you to give up those protections.

If anything is wrong, contact us with your order number and details so we can investigate and work with you on a resolution.

My Trough monthly selections

The 72 Trough Club costs £19.99 per paid month, plus a £5 one-off joining fee paid at signup. Eligible My Trough items receive 20% off first, then a £20 monthly comic allowance covers discounted comic prices—equivalent to £25 of eligible comics at normal retail prices. The same 20% saving applies to eligible additional My Trough purchases. Non-comic extras do not use the comic allowance. Staff complete any unused allowance with comics, with no rollover or cash balance. This replaces the ordinary 15% saving for those additions; discounts do not stack. Unused included value is completed by staff with comics for that month, with no rollover or cash balance. Sale items, pre-orders, subscriptions and delivery are excluded from the 20% saving.

Selection closes at 11:59pm UK time two working days before dispatch on the last working day of the month. Pay a £5 one-off joining fee today to reserve your numbered Trough, then £19.99 on the next 1st and monthly thereafter. The joining fee is additional to the monthly price. Your £25 comic selection and paid member savings start after the first successful £19.99 monthly payment; your first parcel dispatches on the last working day of that paid month. Standard UK monthly parcels must fit the approved box and packed weight limit; other deliveries need prior agreement. Cancel future renewals any time before the next payment, with no minimum term. Your statutory cancellation and returns rights continue to apply. We top up your monthly Trough with complimentary comics, gifts and physical previews, selected by our team according to availability and space in your parcel. The mix varies each month; there is no fixed number of free items. Complimentary extras are not awarded per comic purchased, have no cash value and may be declined. Read the My Trough operating guide.
