Join the club
Subscribe using the account you want to keep your Trough in. Your £20 comic allowance is applied after the 20% saving, covering £25 of eligible comics at normal retail prices each paid month.
Choose what goes in
Eligible My Trough items receive 20% off first, then your £20 allowance covers discounted comic prices. Non-comic extras receive the saving without using your comic allowance. Complete checkout—even at £0—to secure your choices.
We finish the parcel
We top up your Trough with complimentary comics, gifts and physical previews, chosen for your monthly parcel and subject to availability and space. We dispatch everything together on the last working day of the month.
A SIMPLE EXAMPLE
£25 of comics. Fully included.
Choose £25 of eligible comics: the 20% saving brings them to £20, covered by your monthly comic allowance. Choose £40 of eligible comics instead and pay £12 extra. Extras are one-off purchases, separate from your monthly membership.
More than a parcel of comics.
We top up your monthly Trough with complimentary comics, gifts and physical previews, selected by our team according to availability and space in your parcel. The mix varies each month; there is no fixed number of free items. All comics are supplied bagged and boarded.
Personal recommendations, a membership card, our members’ WhatsApp group and help following your favourite publishers, characters and releases are part of the club too.
Not sure what to choose?
Leave some of your included value unused and we select comics to complete that month’s parcel to at least £25 normal retail value.
Tell us what you enjoy—we’re here to help build a collection that feels like yours.
The useful details.
When does my Trough arrive?
We dispatch on the last working day of each month. Selections close at 11:59pm UK time two working days earlier. My Trough shows the dates. Standard UK monthly delivery is included, within the gift box’s space and 2kg packed limit; larger or unsuitable items need a delivery check. International customers should contact us before joining.
When do I pay, and can I cancel?
Pay a £5 one-off joining fee today to reserve your numbered Trough, then £19.99 on the next 1st and monthly thereafter. The joining fee is additional to the monthly price. Your £25 comic selection and paid member savings start after the first successful £19.99 monthly payment; your first parcel dispatches on the last working day of that paid month. There is no minimum term: cancel future renewals under My Account → Subscriptions before your next payment. Checkout confirms your exact charges and dates.
What does the 20% saving apply to?
All eligible items added through My Trough receive 20% off. Your £20 monthly allowance then pays for discounted comic prices. Eligible non-comic items receive 20% off but do not use the allowance. Sale items, pre-orders, subscription payments, delivery and other coupons are excluded. Discounts do not stack. On eligible ordinary website purchases outside My Trough, the usual 15% member saving applies instead.
Does unused comic value carry over?
No. Included value belongs to that paid month and is not a cash balance. We complete any unused portion with comics for that month’s parcel.
Can I opt out of free gifts?
Yes—use the free-gift preference in My Trough or at checkout. Complimentary extras depend on available stock and safe packing; physical previews are included when available. Your normal cancellation, returns and statutory consumer rights continue to apply.
