Description
- Premise: Following the apparent death/defeat of the Justice League and the destruction of the A.R.G.U.S. headquarters by the Crime Syndicate, leader Colonel Steve Trevor tries to pick up the pieces.
- Key Quest: Steve Trevor works to uncover what happened to the heroes—including discovering that members of the Justice League are trapped inside the Firestorm Matrix.
- Unlikely Alliances: He teams up with rogue characters like Killer Frost (who relies on Firestorm to survive) to navigate the chaos.
- Major Conflicts: The series features encounters with villains like Deathstroke, Copperhead, Cheetah (where Steve uses the Lasso of Truth), and Doctor Light, alongside flashbacks to Steve working with the U.S. government.
- Resolution (Issue #6): Steve escapes entrapment by the Moirai, defeats Doctor Light, and plans alongside Martian Manhunter and Killer Frost to rebuild A.R.G.U.S. and the Justice Leagues as the crisis concludes.
