A comic subscription should give you something to look forward to, and a say in what arrives. The 72 Trough Club brings both together. You have your own numbered Trough at Comic Moon HQ and an exclusive My Trough area in your account, where you build your monthly selection.
Choose the comics you want, gather eligible extras at a member saving and let us finish the parcel with complimentary comics, gifts and physical previews. There are just 72 places, with room for the personal attention that makes an independent comic shop worth coming back to.
What the membership includes
Following a favourite character? Trying another publisher? Picking up an issue you have had your eye on? Use the search in My Trough to explore eligible regular-price, in-stock items from our shop. Your Trough is for your choices, with our recommendations there when you need them.
A few comics from the Comic Moon shelves. Stock and eligibility are checked when you select and check out; these are examples, not a fixed monthly bundle.
Managing My Trough
Join using the account you want to keep your membership in. Once your subscription is set up, sign in and open My Account → My Trough. It is a dedicated club area, separate from Build My Shelves.

Allowance and monthly dates
After your monthly payment succeeds, your panel shows the remaining comic allowance, any value held in unpaid orders, the selection cutoff and planned dispatch date. The allowance is shown at discounted prices: £20 covers £25 of eligible comics at normal prices.
Selecting comics
Search for a title, character or stock code. Add your choices to the Trough basket, then use Review selection & check out to confirm them. You must complete checkout even when the total is £0. Adding something to a basket or saving a request does not reserve the stock.
Parcel status
Confirmed items appear in this month’s Trough. Check your delivery address, set whether you would like complimentary gifts and extra comics, and review previous parcels. Dispatch or tracking details appear when our team records them.
Subscription settings
Use My Account → Subscriptions to view your subscription and cancel future renewals before the next payment. If a payment needs attention, follow the options shown there or contact us for help.
Allowance, discounts and extras
Eligible My Trough items receive 20% off first. Your £20 monthly comic allowance then pays for discounted comic prices, giving you £25 of eligible comics at normal retail value. The same 20% saving continues on eligible additions after the allowance is used.
Eligible non-comic extras also receive 20% off through My Trough, but do not use the comic allowance. Extra purchases are paid for separately from the monthly subscription. Outside My Trough, eligible ordinary website purchases receive the usual 15% member saving instead.
Complimentary comics and gifts
Our team gathers your confirmed choices into one monthly parcel, then adds complimentary comics, gifts and physical previews according to availability and safe packing space. The selection varies; there is no fixed number of free items. All comics are supplied bagged and boarded.
If you do not use your full comic allowance, we select comics to complete that month’s parcel to at least £25 normal retail value. Tell us what you enjoy so we can help steer the selection towards your interests.
Joining and payment dates
Today: pay the £5 one-off joining fee to reserve your numbered Trough and access the planning area.
The next 1st: your first £19.99 monthly payment is due. Once it succeeds, your included comic allowance and paid member savings open. Payments then continue on the 1st each month.
Before dispatch: make and confirm your choices by 11:59pm UK time, two working days before the last working day of the month. We dispatch on the last working day of that paid month. Your panel shows the exact dates.
The joining fee is additional to the monthly price. There is no minimum term. Cancel future renewals before your next payment through My Account → Subscriptions.

The monthly allowance is for comics, does not roll over and is not a cash balance. Before a paid month opens, or after the cutoff, requests are planning only and reserve neither stock nor money. Included standard UK delivery is subject to the Trough box’s space and 2kg packed limit.
